久聞 舊金山  北邊有一座很有名的  Muir Woods   紅木國家公園  .

於是 選擇 一個  晴朗的好天氣   設定 好  GPS  ,  我 和先生  決定 自行開車 前往參觀.

車子開了一個多小時  終於到達.

~~  若想健行,  有地圖指標  會告訴你 :  步道的長度及所需時間

在巨大紅木下 ,  人 顯得多麼的渺小啊 

千里迢迢  來到這  紅木林,   來張 留影  !

 紅木根部的  樹 瘤,    會長出綠芽,   成長為另一棵紅木.

 這是 紅木與其他樹木 不同的地方.

Muir Woods National Monument is a unit of the National Park Service

 on the Pacific coast of southwestern Marin County, California,

12 miles (19 km) north of San Francisco and part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

 It protects 559 acres (226 ha),^[1] of which 240 acres (97 ha) are

 old growth Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) forests,^[2]

 one of a few such stands remaining in the San Francisco Bay Area.
